Stephen Mallatratt’s ingenious adaptation of Susan Hill’s acclaimed ghost story began as a 3-week run in the bar at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough over Christmas in 1987 and enjoyed a 33 year West End run.
Seen by over 7 million people including at least 750,000 schoolchildren, it continues to delight (and terrify!) audiences across the globe. 2023 saw the show begin a nine month tour of the UK. The show was back for a UK tour in 2025/2026. More information can be found by following the link below.
